Thomas J. Hendricks, 70, Pulaski, passed away with dignity and grace on Sunday, December 20, 2020, with his wife and son at his side. The son of the late John and Eleanore (Cooney) Hendricks was born September 9, 1950, in Green Bay, and was a 1968 graduate of Pulaski High School. While he was in high school, Tom worked at Pikle-Rite in Pulaski after classes to make enough money to buy his first car and his first motorcycle. After high school, he attended NWTC, graduating in 1970.
On September 16, 1972, he married Lois M. Kossow at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Algoma. The couple celebrated 48 years of marriage.
After graduation from NWTC, Tom took a job at Green Bay Foods. The company changed hands over Tom’s 40 years of employment. He retired as a manager at the Hobart Distribution Center for Bay Valley Foods.
Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting sporting clays, trap, and skeet and, above all, riding his Harley trike with his wife, Lois. During the course of his illness, he especially missed going for bike rides and putting on mileage with good friends: the three Judys, Butch, Mutch, and Dave, and Gene and Pricilia. Tom loved to see his grandchildren at their games and practices. He was especially very proud of Chase and Dawson at their hockey games. He loved to see his grandchildren and loved them all equally, with all of his heart.
In addition to his wife, Lois, Tom is survived by a son: Todd (Dana) Hendricks; grandchildren: Chase, Paige, Dawson, McKenna, and Alaina; a brother-in-law: Thomas Jessen, Sr.; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, a sister-in-law: Elizabeth, and other relatives.
Friends are invited to gather with the family at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski, Pulaski, from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. Monday. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Fr. James Gannon, O.F.M. officiating. Guests will be required to wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines. Masks will be available for anyone who does not have one.
Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma.
