Suzanne W. Boland, 95, Port Washington, died Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Shepherd’s Inn Assisted Living, Seymour. She was born October 15, 1925, to Harmon “Cap” F. and Caroline (Hauswirth) Wilson in Lake Church.
Suzanne grew up in the Port Washington and graduated from Port Washington High School. Following high school she attended Marion College, earning a Bachelor degree. After college she moved to New York City to become an actress. She was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity. Eventually she moved back to Wisconsin and taught speech and language at Marion College until her retirement in 1999. Suzanne loved crossword puzzles, literature, karate, and belly dancing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Suzanne was an exuberant and joyful individual and a doting mother and grandmother.
Suzanne is survived by her children, Paula (Gerald) Novak, Pulaski, and Dion Boland, Simi Valley, CA; seven grandchildren : Peter, Thomas, Jordan, Damien, Graham, Dulcie, and Callum, and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Herbert Boland.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 125 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 1st. Burial will take place at a later time in Port Washington Cemetery, Port Washington.
