Shirley A. Wasielewski, 63, Pulaski, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, February 26, 2021, at her home. The daughter of Benon and Ceil (Hylok) Smith was born December 16, 1957, and was a 1976 graduate of Pulaski High School.
In September of 1979, she married Ted Wasielewski at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski. The couple farmed in the Town of Angelica until their retirement. Shirley loved nature and the outdoors and especially cared for the couple’s dogs and the cows on their farm. She loved to bake and she was real good at it! A hardworker, Shirley was a good housewife and farm wife. She had a special place in her heart for her brother, Carl Smith.
In addition to her husband of over 41 years, Ted, she will be missed by Ted’s family: Alice (Glen) Minks, Kentucky, Doris (Ed) Ashley, Pulaski, Cathy (Larry) Matuszak, Sobieski, Dennis (Patty) Wasielewski, Pulaski, Mary Ann (Tom) Timmers, Green Bay, and Mark (Chris) Wasielewski, Pulaski; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Carl, and Ted’s parents: Harry and Agnes Wasielewski.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski, with committal in the parish cemetery.
