Petronella “Patsy” Wielgus, 91, a long time Pulaski resident, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, due to a long-term illness and complications from a recent surgery. The daughter of Pauline (Krysiak) and Andrew Humecki was born January 16, 1931, and was a 1948 graduate of Pulaski High School.

On August 23, 1952, she married the love of her life, Arthur Wielgus. At the time of his death on November 12, 2007, the couple had been married for 55 years. She took care of Artie for 17 years while he was almost totally paralyzed. She called it her daily labor of love.

She was a member of The Universal Rosary Association, based in Texas, and was also a member of The Pious Union of St. Joseph, out of Grass Lake, Michigan. Family and friends were an important part of her life. Survivors include her son, Mark, who cared for her every need over the past 3 years; one sister and two brothers; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In accordance with her wishes, private funeral services will be held. Burial will take place in Assumption B.V.M. Cemetery, Pulaski.
