Norma L. Socha, 93, Pulaski, died peacefully Thursday afternoon, October 3rd, 2019 at Good Shepherd- Birch Way in Seymour. The daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Jankowski) Machinski was born June 9, 1926, in Pulaski. On June 17, 1950, she married Robert T. Socha at Assumption BVM Church in Pulaski. She loved her career as an elementary school teacher and enjoyed catching up with her students, even after she retired. She also worked at Georgia Pacific and made friends with many of her coworkers. She also volunteered many hours at the Pulaski Senior Center. Norma loved to play bingo and cards and was the official chauffeur for many of her friends for card gatherings. She was an avid Brewers and Packers fan and was very proud of the brick at Lambeau Field that bears her name.

Survivors include her children: James (Margy) Socha, Connie (Steve) Wisneski, Paul (Debra) Socha, John Socha; 11 grandchildren: Joshua (Meghan), Justin (Jayme) Samantha (friend, Mike), Joseph, David (Sheila), Mitchell (fiancé, Courtney), Adam (Marcia), Jena, Curtis, Jamie (Lisa), Tay (Jenny); nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Alice Socha; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Socha on April 9, 1993; two brothers: Roman and Edward Machinski; two sisters: Florence (Tony) Lasek and Alice (Joe) Wegrzyn; granddaughter-in-law, A.J. Socha

The Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 12th at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski, with Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M., presiding. Norma was laid to rest in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
