Ronald P. LaRock, 64, Pulaski, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 8, 2023, due to health complications. The son of Russell James and Lillian Ann (Crane) LaRock was born May 19, 1958, in Green Bay and was a 1976 graduate of Pulaski High School.
Ron worked at Furnitureland in Pulaski, for 25 years, most recently as a Warehouse Manager. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing in many locations throughout the years. In recent years, he enjoyed his dream camp near Lake Superior, where he especially loved fishing for lake trout at Stannard Rock. In 2015, he enjoyed a once in a lifetime trip to Alaska with his daughter. A master woodworker, Ron, could build anything. The work was never fast but was always top-notch quality. A jokester at heart, Ron always had some shenanigans up his sleeves. He would eagerly await your arrival so he could pull off his next prank. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage, at times taking your points if you miscounted. After all, Dad always wins.
Survivors include his love of over 25 years, Suzanne Gibson; daughters: Dawn (Andy) Wypiszynski and Rachel (Eric) Weyenberg; sons: Tom Gibson, Dan (Kelly) Gibson, and Greg Gibson; grandchildren: Sophia, Owen, Madelyn, Brooke, Jocelyn, Hunter, Quentin, Marek, and Sage; his siblings: James (LaVerne) LaRock, MaryJane (James) Czachor, and Julie Rentmeester; the extended Langyel family, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a brother, Robert LaRock, and a sister, Barbara (Tom) Hogan.
Friends are invited to gather with the family at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 13th. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at 6:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, Fr. David Kolbak, O.F.M. officiating.
