
Mary Margaret Wozniak, 84, Pulaski, died Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Country Villa Assisted Living, Pulaski. The youngest of three daughters was born to Frank and Genevieve (Rowe) Retzner on February 22, 1938, in Mosinee.
Mary grew up in Stevens Point area; there she met Stan Wozniak while he was attending college. They were married on February 11, 1961. The newly married couple moved to Pulaski and for more than 30 years, Mary drove bus for both Assumption B.V.M. Elementary School and the Pulaski School District.
Mary enjoyed collecting antiques; she spent summer Sundays at the Shawano flea market looking for things she liked. She frequently visited other flea markets throughout Wisconsin. Mary liked the ‘primitive’ antiques and collecting crocks. Mary found great pleasure in decorating her home with her antiques and doing yard work. She was a lady who loved pulling weeds.
Mary was a very giving person. She enjoyed clipping coupons and would then donate food to local churches and food pantries. Mary also loved purchasing gifts, helping families in need during the holiday season.
Mary had a few special friends who would often get together for extended lunch visits. She also enjoyed spending time with her sister, Carol, who was also Mary’s best friend. She loved her family very much.
Survivors include her two children: Will (Tracy) Wozniak, Milwaukee, and Ann (Joe) Kaminski, Sturgeon Bay; two grandchildren: Kathren Kaminski and Andy Koch; a great-grandson, Miles; her two brothers-in-law: John (Marion) Wozniak and Mike Wozniak; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Stan and her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters: Jean (Rex) Lukasaviage and Carol (Jim) Glodowski; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Wozniak.
Friends are invited to gather with family at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, on Friday, January 13, from 10-11 a.m. The Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum, Green Bay.
The family would like to thank the staff at County Villa, especially Lacy, and the Promedica Hospice Team, including Amanda, for the exceptional care given to Mary.
