Judith Faye Kiesow, 85, Sobieski, passed away peacefully February 8, 2023, at the Jack & Engrid Meng Residence, De Pere. The daughter of Ernie and Dorothy (Meisenheimer) Wischnef was born August 13, 1937, in Fond du Lac.

Judy grew up in the Fond du Lac area and graduated from Fond du Lac High School. On February 20, 1960, she married William Kiesow at St. John Lutheran Church, Oshkosh. In her younger years Judy enjoyed bowling, cross-country skiing and playing cards. She also enjoyed knitting, quilting, sewing and just thoroughly enjoyed being a homemaker. Judy loved spending time in the yard, going on walks with Bill and watching the deer in the yard.

Judy is survived by her husband of almost 64 years, William; her children: Crystal (Gerald) Smurawa and Ernie (Donna) Kiesow; grandchildren and their families: Courtney (Kyle) Pierog and their children, Mason and Miles, Karleen (Patrick) Gregg and their children, Addie and Harper, Ryan (Christine) Hopfensperger and their children, Reed and Connor, and Kara (Terry) Baumgartner and their children, Odin and Elowen; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Ernie and Dorothy, she was preceded in death by a sister Joanie Michalski; father and mother-in-law, John and Carrie Kiesow; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Arthur (Vesta) Kiesow and Sue (Roger) Vink.

Friends are invited to gather with family on Friday, February 17, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 5716 Main St, Abrams, from 3-5 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 5 p.m. with Pastor Matt Stubes officiating. Burial will be at a later time in Riverside Cemetery, Little Suamico.
