
Joyce Henrietta Matuszak, 87, Pulaski, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023, at her home. The daughter of Charles and Magdaline (Denis) Mulloy was born July 25, 1935, in De Pere.
At an early age Joyce moved to the Pulaski area and was a 1953 graduate of Pulaski High School. She worked at Prevea Clinic in Green Bay for over 40 years until her retirement in 2014, going back part-time for a few years after.
Joyce was part of the Anston Social Club, and a longtime member of Assumption B.V.M. Parish in Pulaski, where she was a former member of the Council of Catholic Women (Christian Mothers). She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and watching the Green Bay Packers on T.V. Joyce was very instrumental in planning the PHS 70th high school reunion, which will take place on July 26.
Joyce is survived by her four children: Laurie Fischer (special friend, Randy) and her children, Chad (Sarah) Fischer, Allison Fischer, and Maria (Tony) Wall; Cindy Fischer (fiancé, Rob Diederich) and her children, Todd (Michelle) Frisch, Travis Frisch, Troy (Tammy) Frisch, and Tim Frisch; Doug (Lisa) Matuszak and their children, Stepfanie Matuszak and Chase Matuszak; Dean (Paula) Matuszak and their son, Jordan Matuszak. She is further survived by 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Florence Mulloy; longtime friend, Geraldine Wesolowski; the father of her children, Norbert J. Matuszak; and several nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Charles and Magdaline, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Janet (Harry) Cornelissen, Patrick (Marge) Mulloy, Bernice Fox, Jim (Florence) Mulloy, and Richard Mulloy; and a granddaughter, Lisa Fischer.
Friends are invited to gather with family at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski St., on Monday, July 24, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon with Fr. James Esser, O.F.M. presiding. Entombment will take place in Ft. Howard Memorial Park, Green Bay.
