
Jeanne Dorothy (Rosenberg) Wroblewski, 90, died peacefully at her home in Chase, WI on September 1, 2023. She was born August 20, 1933, in Chase, to Norbert and Dorothy (Blaser) Rosenberg.
On June 20, 1953 she married A. John Wroblewski at St. Louis Catholic Church, Abrams. Her husband preceded her in death after 51 years of marriage. They were fortunate enough to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a party given by their children.
Jeanne’s first job was a Switch Board Operator at WI Bell Telephone. Then, she stayed home to raise her children before returning to work at Northern Shoe, where she worked for nine years. Lastly, Jeanne drove a school bus for the Pulaski School District for seventeen years. For forty years, she served as Town Clerk for the town of Chase.
Jeanne had a beautiful flower garden and loved to see things grow. Over the years she has had several people stop to see the beauty, and ask for bouquets. She was a fantastic seamstress, which included sewing her four daughters’ wedding dresses, and their bridesmaids’ dresses. She was also well-known for her delicious raspberry and apple pies she shared with family and friends.
She is survived by five children: Monica Cisler, Conway, Arkansas, John Wroblewski (Chris) Brussels, Terri Denis (Ken) Suamico, Lynn Zajac, Sobieski, Jeff Wroblewski (Shelly) Sobieski; fifteen grandchildren: Tina Jaworski (David), Lawrence B. Jaworski (Christina), Luke Jaworski (Lindsey), Ben Jaworski (Paige), Erica Cisler (Bobby), Stephanie Cardwell (Corey), Matthew Cisler, Heather Wroblewski, Jennifer Wroblewski, Nicole Hieronimczak (Mark), Angela Chapa (Paul), Robyn Zajac-Elsbecker (Chase), Nicholas Zajac(Sami), Elizabeth Hendzel (Cody), Zachery Wroblewski (Zachary); fifteen great grandchildren: Seylar, Kassidy, Independence, Grace, Cloe, Kaylynn, Nikolas, Anastazja, Brynn, Sadie, Harrison, Maverick, Alice, Collin, Emillia; two great, great grandchildren: Isaiah, Amelia; former sons-in-law: Gary Cisler, Kelly Zajac; two brothers: Denny Rosenberg(Chris), Gary Rosenberg(Judy); two sisters: Kathy VanVonderen, Carol Thiel(Tom); brother-in-law: Gary “Kelly” Steffens. Sister-in-law: Barbara Rosenberg; her best friends: Jolene, Mike, Mary Ann and Al; also many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three children: Nancy Jaworski, Jerry Wroblewski, James Wroblewski; granddaughter: Bobbie Jeanne Jaworski; son-in-law: Larry Jaworski; two sisters: Judy Steffens, Bonnie DeWitt; two brothers: Doug Rosenberg, infant David; brother-in-law: Gary ”Buck” VanVonderen.
Family and friends may gather at St. Edward and Isidore Church, 3667 Flintville Rd., Suamico, WI 54313, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Mass of Christian Burial with Fr. David Hoffman officiating at 11:00 a.m. There will be a luncheon after mass preceding the burial. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chase.
