Janice M. Galuska, 82, of Abrams, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 28, 2023, at Alpha Senior Concepts in Howard. The daughter of Marcus and Armentha (Scheffen) Greetan was born in Oconto Falls on September 21, 1940.

Janice married Daniel Galuska on November 21, 1959, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Abrams. Together the couple operated Dan’s Salvage yard until his death. Janice enjoyed baking, gardening, and shopping. She was also a wonderful homemaker and caregiver. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Janice is survived by two children, Mary (Patrick) Brunette and Daniel Galuska; two grandchildren: Courtney Brunette and Ryanlee Brunette; two brothers: Stanley (Mary) Greetan and Wayne (Joyce) Greetan; and several nieces, nephews and other family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; parents, Marcus and Armentha; two infant siblings and a brother, Everett (Diane) Greetan.

Friends are invited to gather with family at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, on Thursday, May 4, from 3-6 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 6 p.m. Interment will be in St. John Cantius Cemetery, Sobieski.
