
Gregory P. Dryja, 67, Krakow, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2023, at Watertown Medical Center in Watertown, WI. The son of Norbert and Irene (McDermid) Dryja was born April 30, 1956, in Green Bay.
Greg grew up in the Krakow area on the family farm and was a 1974 graduate of Pulaski High School. He worked at the Georgia Pacific East Plant as a machine operator for over 43 years, eventually retiring in 2020.
Greg had a love of being outdoors in nature. He enjoyed spending time in his garden, making firewood, working on John Deere and Allis Chalmers tractors, and wrenching on cars. Most of all, he loved spending time with his precious granddaughter, Chameli.
He will be missed by his significant other of twenty years, Marilyn Ahlswede; two sons: Jason (Asha) Dryja and Kyle Dryja; his granddaughter, Chameli Dryja; three brothers: Daniel (Barbara) Dryja, David (Cynthia) Dryja, and Mark (Diane) Dryja; two godchildren: Andrew Dryja and Angi (Patrick) Ignarski; many nieces and nephews, several grandnieces and grandnephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert and Irene.
Friends are invited to gather with family at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, on Monday, August 7, from 9-11 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. James Esser, O.F.M. presiding. Burial will be in St. Casimir Cemetery, Krakow.
