
Cheryl Lynn (Burmeister) Conant, 64, Marinette, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Jack & Engrid Meng Residence, De Pere. The daughter of Delbert and Ruth (Lilla) Burmeister was born May 23, 1958, in Green Bay.
Cheryl grew up in Pulaski and graduated from Pulaski High School with the class of 1976. Following high school, she attended NWTC in the Office Management program. She married Ted Conant on September 13, 1997. Cheryl worked at Bellin Hospital, Bay Area Medical Center, and most recently for the city of Marinette at Health and Human Services ADAPT as an administrative assistant.
In her early years, Cheryl enjoyed snowmobiling and bowling. She was an avid crafter, enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers, and canning. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends around a bonfire in the backyard.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Ted; mother, Ruth Burmeister; her sister, Dawn (Ron) Ryczkowski; stepchildren and their families: Jeromy (Heather) Conant and their children, Sam and Bella, and Katie (Dusty) Lowery and their daughters, Maggie and Anne. She is further survived by her nephew, Robert (Beth) Bialozynski and their children, Enoch and Ellie; niece, Caitlin (fiancé, Josh Hull) Ryczkowski; her in-laws: Paul (Doe) Cooper, Kim (Marie) Conant, Pattie (Mark) Holm, Joany Conant, and Ruthie Conant; and special family friend, LuAnn James.
She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Burmeister; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Arlene Conant; her paternal and maternal grandparents; brother-in-law, Scott Conant; sister-in-law, Janey Ashley, and niece Jenny Ashley.
Friends are invited to gather for a celebration of Cheryl’s life at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, on Saturday, March 25, from 2-4 p.m. Burial will take place in the spring in Assumption B.V.M. Cemetery.
