Mary Lynn Szprejda, 74, of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. The daughter of John and Fern (Gerl) Verhagen was born September 30, 1948, in Green Bay.
Lynn was a graduate of Preble High School. On January 9, 1971, she married Leonard Szprejda at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay. In her younger years she worked at Streu’s Pharmacy in Green Bay and at the Franciscan Publishers for many years. She was a member of the St. Casimir Altar Rosary Society and loved spending time with the Gotcha Girls. Lynn enjoyed gardening, helping on the farm and babysitting her grandkids.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Leonard; her children: James (Elizabeth) Dunton, Jennifer Szprejda, Heather (Glen) Kraning, and Danielle (Tony) Nooyen; grandchildren: Nicole, Brandon, Tony, and Grayden; her brothers: Dale Verhagen, Jay Verhagen, and Bill Verhagen; a brother-in-law, Ralph Szprejda; two sisters-in-law, Alice (Lyle) Husar and Arlene (Allen) Blaser; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Fern; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Florian and Harriet Szprejda; sisters-in-law, Judy Szprejda and Mary Verhagen; and an infant granddaughter, Harriet Nooyen.
Per Lynn’s wishes private family services will be held.
