Lorraine Wendlandt Holl, 86, Pulaski and formerly of Brandon, died peacefully Saturday morning, December 19, 2020, at Parkside Village in Allouez. The daughter of the late Alfred and Lola (Badtke) Fude was born July 6, 1934, in Waupun. On June 20, 1953, she married Richard (Red) Wendlandt in Brandon, where the couple made their home and raised their family. Red preceded her in death in 1973.
On September 5, 1980, she married LeRoy Holl. The couple moved to Abrams in 1983, and then to Pulaski in 2017. Lorraine was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Morgan. She also belonged to the American Legion Aux. Unit #337 in Pulaski.
Lorraine loved working outside at her home in Abrams, and especially enjoyed tending her chickens. Her great grandchildren called her “chicken grandma.”
In addition to her husband, LeRoy, she is survived by two daughters and one son: Brenda (Kirt) Grams, Oshkosh, Linda Thomsen, Tennessee, and Dave (Jacque) Wendlandt, Abrams; two stepdaughters and one stepson: Vicki Buchholz, Beaver Dam, Roxanne (Bobby) Lyyski, Ripon, Lee Jr. (Debra) Holl, Texas, and a step daughter-in-law: Valerie Holl, Tampa, FL; her grandchildren: Nicholas (Brenda) Grams, Nathan (Kenlin) Grams, Calvin (Maddie) Wendlandt, Darla (Luis) Ordonez, Hunter Wendlandt and Kjersti Wendlandt; her step-grandchildren: Andrew (Cindy) Gossfield, Bradley Gossfeld, Marcus Buchholz (fiancée Carolina), Tabatha Neisius, Gary Holl and Alexis Holl; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Ellen Fude, Waupun and LeRoy’s family, nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her first husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Lyle Holl, a stepdaughter, Juanita Holl, and one brother, Ernest Fude.
Private services were held at Marnocha Funeral Home in Pulaski, Rev. Lloyd Luedeman officiating. A committal service for family and friends will be held at Brandon Cemetery in the spring.
