Leonard ‘Lenny’ R. Mroczkowski, 86, Krakow, passed away peacefully Wednesday April 21, 2021, at Grancare Nursing Center in Green Bay with his family at his side. The son of Frank Sr and Rose (Gonsior) Mroczkowski was born June 7, 1934, in Krakow. On September 17, 1960, he married Martha Tyczkowski at St Stanislaus Church in Hofa Park. The couple lived in Krakow all of their married life, where they raised their family.
Lenny worked at Carver Yachts in Pulaski for 41 years retiring from the maintenance department in June 1999. He was a member of St Casimir Parish in Krakow, where he belonged to the Holy Name Society and was an usher. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Dad really enjoyed farming, farming and more farming. Even when he retired, he was at the home farm every day, several times a day. Dad’s love for the land was not limited to the fields as he enjoyed gardening as much as farming. He enjoyed listening and dancing to polka music. A few of his favorites were cookies, chocolate, prime rib and a good old fashioned. Lenny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and we will miss him dearly. Dad’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage on Rost Lake.
