Leland F. Pansier, 91, Abrams, has rejoined the love of his life, Clara, passing away peacefully, December 1, 2022, at Alpha Senior Concepts, Howard. The son of Leo and Grace (Van Vonderen) Pansier was born, October 14, 1931, in De Pere.

On June 6, 1953, Lee married Clara Erickson at St. Francis Church, De Pere. Lee worked in maintenance at Clark Oil & Refining Co. for over 35 years until his retirement in 1992. After retirement, Lee was a parts runner for Bumper to Bumper. In his younger years, he was a member of the Hobart volunteer fire department. Lee was very proud of ability to play his concertina and was the leader of the Lee Pansier Polka Band. He and Clara loved to dance to Polkas. He enjoyed spending time on his hobby farm and had a love for anything John Deere or Dodge.

Lee is survived by his four children:  Leyann (Larry) LaCount, Larry Pansier, Carlene Bessert, and Chuck Pansier; his six grandchildren: Chris (Barb) White, Cherie (Dave) Daniels, Jake Bessert, Lee Bessert, Jill Urban and Jodi (Tim) Hattendorf; 10 great-grandchildren: Joey and Trevor Daniels, Logan and Leiah White, Trent LaCount, Payton and Gage Urban, Ella, Conley, and Keelyn Hattendorf; a sister, Delores Kane; sister-in-law, Carol Erickson; and many nieces, nephews and other family.

In addition to his wife, Clara and parents, Leo and Grace, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Haldor and Molly; two sons-in-law: Tom White and Brian Bessert; siblings: Hugo (Eunice) Pansier, Ervin (Marlene) Pansier, Louie (Teresa) Pansier, Herbie (Doris) Pansier, Betty (Jerry) Treml, Herbie Fiel, and Gordon Kane; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Harold (Arlyn) Erickson, Elsie (George) Siemianowski, Dorothy (Frank) Martin, Mildred (Bill) Johnson, Don Erickson, Robert (Shirley) Erickson, Haldor Jr. (Jane) Erickson and Jacob (Lynn) Erickson.

A celebration of Lee’s life is being planned and will be held at a later time.
