Kenneth Eugene Skinkis, 87, Little Suamico, died Thursday, August 12, 2021, at his home. The son of Louis Sr. and Iva (Tipler) Skinkis was born January 4, 1934, in the town of Chase.

Ken enlisted in the US Army on November 5, 1957, and served until his honorable discharge on November 4, 1959. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He loved horse pulling and loved to “exercise” his car… otherwise it would get cranky. Ken will be dearly missed by the family and friends who truly loved him.

Ken is survived by a brother, Louis Jr., Algoma; two daughters: Barbara (Gary) Chupita, Menchalville and Vikki (Pernell) Favors, Panama City, FL; three estranged children: Cathy (Jim) Collins, Sturgeon Bay; Kelly (Cathy) Skinkis, Sobieski; and Kristi (Christoffer) Dodson-Skinkis, Little Suamico; the mother of his children, Carla Skinkis; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel Krajewski; six brothers: Jim, Gordon, Edwin, Donald, Calvin and Bernard; a great-grandchild, Devin; and his special friend, Janet Kruse.

Visitation for Ken will be Wednesday, August 25, at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, from 1-3 p.m. Military Honors will take place at 3 p.m. at the funeral home performed by the Pulaski Area Veterans.

Ken’s family would like to thank his friends at North Chase Bar and South Chase Bar who spared their time every day to have a conversation and a joke or two with him. They added brightness to his day. “Trouble” really appreciated it.
