James H. “Jim” Micolichek, 88, Pulaski, died peacefully Tuesday, January 12, 2021. The son of Henry and Julia (Wojciechowski) Micolichek was born July 18, 1932. On January 18, 1958, he married Marilyn Schwartz at St. Stanislaus Church in Hofa Park.
Jim had been employed at Carver Boat for many years. A great woodworker, he enjoyed working on projects in his shop at home. He could always be found working on a new project. Jim also liked camping, snowmobiling, and he loved to kick up his heels to a good polka. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include three children: Nancy Micolichek, Pulaski, James Micolichek, Green Bay, and Cheryl Eldredge, Pulaski; a daughter-in-law: Mae Micolichek, Pulaski; a son-in-law: Larry “Fuzzy” Campshure, Pound; 13 grandchildren: Alex Micolichek, Nicole (Troy) Johnson, and Taylor Micolichek; Ashley Micolichek, Cassie (Brian) Kukich, and Kylie Micolichek; Hunter Micolichek, Haley Micolichek, and Hanna Micolichek; Kody (Molly) Campshure; Robert, Dalton, and Dillon Eldredge; and 11 great-grandchildren; a brother: Raymond Micolichek, and a brother-in-law: Robert Holmes; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife, Marilyn, he was preceded in death by one daughter: Cindy Campshure; two sons: David and Dan Micolichek; one grandson: Noah Micolichek; siblings: Robert (Evelyn) Micolichek, Patricia Holmes, and an infant sister, Eva; and a sister-in-law, Yone Micolichek.
Jim was the most selfless individual that there ever was and had a heart of gold.
