Helen M. Berkhahn, 65, Bonduel and formerly of Pulaski, died unexpectedly, Monday, May 17, 2021, at her home. She was born July 13, 1955 to Waclaw and Regina (Bialozynski) Novitski, in Green Bay.
Helen grew up in Pulaski and graduated from Pulaski High School in 1973. Helen worked at Northern Shoe and Carver Boat in Pulaski and worked until her retirement in 2017 at SCA Tissue Mills in Neenah. She was an avid outdoorsperson; she loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed picking wild mushrooms, blackberries, wild asparagus, and making polish sausage following a family tradition.
Helen is survived by a brother, Tony Novitski, Pulaski; a sister, Judy Novitski, De Pere; niece, Kristy (Markus) Shafel, Antigo; and numerous cousins and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 26, at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski. Friends are invited to gather with the family after 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the American Cancer Society in Helen’s name.
