Gerald Ronald Wojkiewicz, 70, Pulaski, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and daughters, June 25, 2021, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay. The son of Leo and Veronica (Hylok) Wojkiewicz was born in Green Bay, October 3, 1950.

Jerry graduated from Pulaski High School with the class of 1968. He married Mary Ann Mroczkowski on September 28, 1974, at St. Casimir Church in Krakow. Jerry worked for Carver Boat and was a self-employed scrap metal collector. He was known to many in the Pulaski and surrounding areas as “Junkman Jerry” driving around in his orange truck.

Jerry enjoyed his meetings with his coffee clutch group at McDonalds, listening to Polka music and traveling to numerous festivals and church picnics. He also enjoyed going to auctions, playing cards and taking Sunday drives with “MA”. He was an active member of Assumption B.V.M. Church. Jerry cherished spending time with his grandsons and loved attending their baseball games.

Jerry will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Mary, Pulaski; daughters: Michelle Eron (Todd Frisch), Pulaski and Jennifer Geiser (fiancé Greg Henning), De Pere; his grandsons: Braeden Eron, Gavin and Griffin Geiser; his brothers-in-law: Frank Jr. (Sheila) Mroczkowski, AZ; Jim (Pattie) Mroczkowski, Pulaski; and Ray Kozlowski, Pulaski; sisters-in-law: Phyllis (Matt) Dufeck, Pound;Terri (Butch) Wesolowski, Oconto Falls; Sue (Bob) Simkowski, Plover; and Karen Mroczkowski, Krakow; three sisters: Barbara (Ken) Dunaj, Mosinee; Lucille (Eugene) Przybylski, Pulaski; and Judith Wisniewski, Seymour. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and his dear friends: Tom and Darlene Sikorski, Allan Eron and Adam Geiser.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Frank Sr. and Rose Mroczkowski; brothers and sisters-in-law: Leonard (Martha) Mroczkowski; Helen Kozlowski, Regina (Peter) Golubski; Raymond Mroczkowski Sr.; and Geraldine Mroczkowski.

Friends are invited to gather with the family at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 124 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, with a Parish Wake Service at 6:30 p.m.  Visitation continues on Wednesday at the church from 9-11 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Fr. James Esser, O.F.M. presiding. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire 3rd Floor ICU staff at Aurora for the outstanding care and compassion given to Jerry.
