Florence “Pat” Brzezinski, 95, Pulaski, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, August 29, 2022. She was born September 25, 1926, in Krakow to the late John and Helen (Jagodzinski) Kurowski.

Pat was a graduate of Pulaski High School. On May 28, 1949, she was united in marriage to Leo T. Brzezinski. The couple made their home in Sobieski, where they raised four children. At one time, Pat was treasurer for the Town of Little Suamico. Over the years, she worked at the Pulaski Co-op, Larsen Canning, and Alwin Manufacturing. In 2000, she moved to Pulaski.

Pat enjoyed crocheting; making many baby afghans for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to play cards, do puzzles, and bake. There were always many tins of Christmas cookies and she baked special Easter lamb cakes every year. Pat also loved to make little crafts and see what Martha Stewart was making.

Pat is survived by three children: Mike (Pat) Brzezinski, De Pere, Jim (Nancy) Brzezinski, Sobieski, and Marianne (Chris) Tappa, Abrams; her grandchildren: Brian (Kristy) Brzezinski, Diane (Alex Greuel) Brzezinski, Brenda (Rick) Ganzel, Brian J. (Jennifer) Brzezinski, Joe (Caitlin) Brzezinski, Angela (Ryan) Diedrich, Allison (Luke) Peshman, and Kimberly (Klint) Szymanski. She is further survived by her great grandchildren: Leah, Abby, Christian, Brianna, Addison, Carsen, Audrey, Henry, Kate, Leo, Xander, Gabriel, Gavin and Julia; one sister, Sharon Lorsung; sisters-in-law: Jill Kurowski, Mary Kurowski, and Kay Mitchell; a son-in-law, Jerry (Joan) Smurawa; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leo in 1984; daughter, Christine Smurawa in 1986; her parents, John and Helen; brothers: Ralph (Eleanor) Kurowski, Ed Kurowski, Buddy (Elaine) Kurowski, and Jerry Kurowski; sisters: Dorothy (David) Cole, Marcella Olsen, Bebe Ann Kurowski and infant sister, Delores; in laws: Adrian (Louise) Brzezinski, Theodosia (Richard) Allen, and Roger Mitchell.

Friends are invited to gather with family at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 6051 Noble St., Sobieski, on Friday, September 2, from 9-11 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. Francis Nusi officiating and Fr. Tony De Los Santos, concelebrating. Interment will follow in St. John Cantius Cemetery.
