Eleanor “Ellie” A. Kelly, 96, Pulaski area resident, died Thursday, May 12, 2022. She was the youngest of eight children, born April 27, 1926, to Michael and Anna (Krazewski) Preslaski in Flintville.

Ellie began her career in Chicago, IL as a government employee. In 1946, she met Truman Kelly. The couple was married on October 9, 1948 in Tucson, Arizona. For over 47 years, Ellie worked as a nurse technician in the pediatrics and neonatal departments at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. There she lovingly cared for generations of babies, and enjoyed the love and friendship of many staff members. She considered them her extended family. Ellie was proud to have been chosen as “Employee of the Month” by staff and management personnel for her long dedicated service.

Ellie was a longtime member of Assumption B.V.M. Parish in Pulaski, where she belonged to the Council of Catholic Women. She volunteered much of her time at the parish and participated in many parish activities. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #337, Pulaski, and did volunteer work with the Blood Bank.

Ellie was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Kelly, and is survived by her son, Timothy and his wife, Katherine; four grandchildren: Shawn (Elizabeth) Ryan (Missy), Brittany (special friend, Billy),  and Tanner (fiancée Emily); four great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Friends are invited to gather with the family at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 18. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at the church, Fr. Brendan Wroblewski, O.F.M. presiding. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
