Edward Staszak, Krakow, 96 years young, died peacefully Thursday morning, December 17, 2020, at his home. The son of Walter and Anna (Wrobel) Staszak was born October 12, 1924, in Krakow where he was a lifelong resident. Ed was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked as an electrician and eventually retired with Carver Boat in Pulaski.
Ed was a fixture on the golf course, and most recently stayed a part of his golfing crew by joining them in playing cards at the 19th hole.
Ed was always interested in life and loved to have conversations about the world: politics, the Packers, and other topics of interest. He loved a good Manhattan and hosting friends and family at his home.
Survivors include his nieces and nephews: Lynn Staszak, Appleton, Ken (Michele) Staszak, Green Bay, Gary (Terri) Staszak, Simi Valley, CA, Kathleen (Paul) Fandrey, Kaukauna, Eileen (Jay) Kunstman, Appleton, Elizabeth (Steve) Gear, Appleton, and Virginia Mulvey, Kaukauna; special family friends: Roger Pomprowitz, Janice Ward, Susan Pomprowitz, and Jimmy Ward.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Hank (Romaine) Staszak and two sisters: Regina (Russ) Mulvey and Rita Staszak.
Guests will be required to wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines. Friends are invited to gather with the family at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 30th. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, Fr. James Esser, O.F.M. presiding. Burial with military honors will take place in the spring in St. Casimir Cemetery, Krakow.
