Dennis W. Saeger, 77, Angelica, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. The son of Edward and Virginia (Roehrborn) Saeger was born August 9, 1943, went to Angelica Grade School and graduated from Pulaski High School. Shortly after graduation, Dennis enlisted in the U.S. Army. After his discharge from the service, he began working at Thilmany Paper Co. in Kaukauna, retiring after 30 years of employment with the company.

Dennis was a member of the American Legion #337,  AmVets #160, and PLAV #178. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and doing jigsaw puzzles. He also enjoyed trips to the casino. Dennis could often be found watching sports; he favored the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers. He was also a loyal Pulaski sports fan, and received a letter for being an avid fan of the Pulaski Red Raiders.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters: Judy (Bob) Myers, Green Bay, Darla Brown, Green Bay, Bruce Saeger, Angelica, and Dale Saeger, Angelica: nieces and nephews: Derek (Tracie) Mueller, Doree (Greg) Heyrman, Doug (Sandy) Mueller, Brett (Becky) Brown, Rick (Rayme) Saeger, Shana (Luke) Gliniecki, Chad (Desirae) Saeger, and Wesley Saeger; many great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tim Saeger.

Guests will be required to properly wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines.  Friends are invited to gather with the family at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6th. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, Rev. Loretta Waegli officiating, followed by military honors by the Pulaski Area Veterans. Entombment will take place in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.

Since it might not be possible to be with the family in person, you are welcome to send any cards of condolence to the funeral home (make sure you put the family’s name on the outside envelope and your return address) and we will forward your cards and messages to the Saeger family.
