Clara Mae Pansier, 89, Abrams, passed away peacefully with her husband at her side on Monday, June 20, 2022. The daughter of Haldor Sr. and Molly (Hock) Erickson was born at home in Oneida on April 3, 1933.

Clara grew up in Northeastern Wisconsin and graduated from West De Pere High School.  On June 6, 1953 she married Lee Pansier at St. Francis Church in De Pere. She worked most of her working career at Valley Bank starting out when it was West Bank and Trust in Green Bay, until her retirement in 1993. Clara was a member of the PACE program in Pulaski and was a member of the election committees in Abrams. She loved her polka music and polka dancing. Clara enjoyed gardening, her hobby farm and cooking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her loving husband of over 69 years, Lee Pansier; four children: Leyann (Larry) LaCount, Larry Pansier, Carlene Bessert and Chuck Pansier; her six grandchildren: Chris (Barb) White, Cherie (Dave) Daniels, Jake Bessert, Lee Bessert, Jill Urban and Jodi (Tim) Hattendorf; 10 great-grandchildren: Joey and Trevor Daniels, Logan and Leiah White, Trent LaCount, Payton and  Gage Urban, Ella, Conley, and Keelyn Hattendorf; her brother, Jacob Erickson; a sisters-in-law: Delores Kane and Carol Erickson; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.

In addition to her parents, Haldor Sr. and Molly, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leo and Grace Pansier; two sons-in-law: Tom White and Brian Bessert; seven brothers and sisters: Harold (Arlyn) Erickson, Elsie (George) Siemianowski, Dorothy (Frank) Martin, Mildred (Bill) Johnson, Don Erickson, Robert (Barb) Erickson, Haldor Jr. (Jane) Erickson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Hugo (Eunice) Pansier, Ervin (Marlene) Pansier, Louie (Teresa) Pansier, Herbie (Doris) Pansier, Betty (Jerry) Treml, Herbie Fiel, and Gordon Kane.

A Celebration of Clara’s life is being planned and will be held at a later time.
