Suellen Mary Smith, 53, Seymour, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 16, 2018. The daughter of Rodney and Sandra (Nojek) Johnson was born February 15, 1965, in Virginia. Suellen was raised in Pleasant Prairie. She was a graduate of Tremper High School in Kenosha. On September 26, 1987, she married Jeffery Smith at St. Mary’s Church in Kenosha. The couple moved to Green Bay in the late 1990s. Suellen was a wonderful mother to her two children and numerous neighborhood children. She loved her grandchildren, who affectionately called her Buddah. Suellen loved the outdoors; fishing, hiking, traveling, and gardening were some of her favorites. She was also an avid reader.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffery; two children: Ashley (Bob Hujet) Smith, and Jeffery Smith, Jr.; one granddaughter, Bobbi Hujet; one grandson, Bow Hujet; her mother, Sandra Nojek; four siblings: Sandy Hill, Michele (Shawn) Byroad, Rodney Nojek, Lisa (Dan) Ducheny; two sisters-in-law: Janice (Bill Peters) Brown, and Jeanne (Chuck) Erickson; her mother-in-law, Sharon (Robert) Knickerbocker; her four-legged child, Snickers; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth Johnson; her father, Rodney Johnson, Sr., and her father-in-law, John Smith.

The Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, may 22, 2018, at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M., presiding.
