Rosemary R. (Grode) Femling, 88, Maple Grove, died peacefully Friday, March 1, 2019, at her home. The daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Ripple) Grode was born August 29, 1930, in Nekoosa. After graduating from high school, Rosemary worked in the office at a paper mill in Port Edward.

On December 1, 1951, she married Arthur Norman Femling at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nekoosa. Rosemary was a devoted wife and mother of seven children. She loved her family and especially liked spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, and her family attests to all the goodies that she put on the table or sent home with them. Rosemary also enjoyed taking care of her dogs.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Arthur; her children: Dean Femling, Sheboygan, Mark (Patti) Femling, Howard, Joseph (Karen) Femling, Suamico, Paul Femling, Pulaski, Norman (Ann Perrizo) Femling, Green Bay, Ann (Chris) Cumbers, Suamico, and William Femling, Green Bay; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law: June Roberts, Nekoosa, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends, and her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Richard (Helen) Grode, Edna Mae (William) Stelzer, Francis (Dorothy) Grode, Geraldine (Donald) Olson, Eunice (Allen) Brost, Joseph (Lorraine) Grode, and William (Marjorie) Grode.

The Funeral Service was celebrated at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2018, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. presiding. Entombment took place in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
