Robert H. Lange, 92, Suamico, passed away peacefully at a Green Bay hospital on Thursday, December 14, 2017, with his family at his side. The son of Harvey and Mary (Worachek) Lange was born September 28, 1925. He earned a bachelor degree in education at St. Norbert College in DePere, and received a master’s degree in counseling at UW-Oshkosh. Robert was a US Army-Air Corp veteran of WWII and Korea, and a recipient of a Bronze Star. On October 8, 1949, he married Joan Blodgett at St. Matthew Church in Allouez. He was a member of SS. Edward & Isidore Parish in Flintville. Bob was a teacher and principal at Lincoln Elementary School in West DePere. He then worked many years as a guidance counselor at West DePere High School until his retirement. He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed walks in the woods and trout fishing with Joan. The couple was inseparable and truly enjoyed each other’s company. Bob was ‘old school’; a gentleman who made sure the next generation of his family was also polite. He stayed young, making sure he lived life to the fullest.

Survivors include three children: Rodney M. (Deborah) Lange, Suamico, David L. (Kathy) Lange, Prescott, AZ, and Dianne L. (Todd Zaddack) Lohman, Shawano; five grandchildren: Michael (Andrea Swanberg-Lange) Lange, Madison, David “Joe” (Catherine) Lange, Morgan, Sara (Joe) Coffey, Mesa, AZ, Dawn C. Kerrigan, Mason, and Cory Lohman, Shawano; five great-grandchildren: Henry and Caroline Lange, Emmitt Coffey, Richard Kerrigan, and Lily Lohman and one great-grandson on the way; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan, on June 2, 2016.
