Patrick C. Blohowiak, 67, Pulaski, died Friday, November 30, 2018. The son of George and Hazel (Stender) Blohowiak was born February 23, 1951, in Green Bay and grew up in Kunesh. Patrick served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves. On March 7, 1970, he married Kathleen Matuszak. The couple moved to Peshtigo in 1982, where they raised their family. Patrick drove for Roadway for approximately 40 years.

He participated in trap shooting in Kunesh, and enjoyed hunting deer, pheasant, and rabbit hunting, and fishing. He also bowled for 15 years. Patrick liked to take care of the flower beds in his yard. His grandchildren were important to him. He would make snow forts for the kids, and raked leaves into huge piles in which they could play.

Survivors include his daughters: Sandra (John) Fragassi, and Lisa Garcia; four grandchildren: Kyle, Nathan, and Anna Fragassi, and Matthew Garcia; his siblings: Michael (Linda) Blohowiak, Mary (Tim) Staszak, Amy (Craig) Hewitt, Paula Blohowiak, and Tim (Gail) Blohowiak; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two children: Jean and Joan Blohowiak; his wife of 45 years, Kathleen J. (Matuszak) Blohowiak; his parents, George L. and Hazel Blohowiak, a brother, Peter Blohowiak, and his furry friend, Nala Fragassi.

The Funeral Service was celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15th at the funeral home, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. officiating, followed by military honors by the Pulaski area veterans.
