Orville H. Van De Hei, Sr., 89, Oconto Falls, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Atrium Post Acute Care of Oconto Falls. The son of George and Viola (Peters) Van De Hei was born January 29, 1929, in Green Bay. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and had served for three years during the Korean War. He was a member of the Oconto County D.A.V. and the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Orville loved his pets, and he liked to meet people and talk. He also enjoyed gardening and taking road trips. Orville collected eagles and liked going to rummage sales.

Survivors include his wife, Linda (Bellow) Van De Hei, Oconto Falls; one daughter, Linda (Sam) Cicero, Island Lake, IL; two sons: Dale (Vicki) Norris, Trevor, and Orville Jr. (Janet) Van De Hei, Oconto Falls; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is further survived by two sisters: Alice Tassoul, Pulaski, and Marion (Nick) Franzen, Kiel; and one brother, Lee (Mary) Van De Hei, Manitowoc; two brothers-in-law: Edwin Bellow Jr., Oconto Falls, and Terry (Laurie) Bellow, Oconto; two sisters-in-law: Maryann (Marvin) Jarvey, Oconto, and Nancy Bellow, Oconto Falls; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Orville was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis Van De Hei and Richard Norris; one grandson, Marcus Cicero; one granddaughter, Samantha Norris; three brothers: Harold, Lawrence, and Abrose Van De Hei; one sister, Margaret Styger; and one sister-in-law, Margaret Bellow.

The Funeral Service was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13th at the funeral home, Pastor David Henke officiating, followed by military honors by the Pulaski Area Veterans and the Military Order of the Purple Heart.
