Minnie Karchinski, 89, Pulaski, died Sunday morning, May 28, 2017, at a Green Bay hospital. The daughter of the late Fred and Esther (Wagner) Weier was born January 29, 1928, in Kunesh. In February of 1948, she married Chester Karchinski at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski. The couple farmed in Kunesh until retirement, at which time they moved to Pulaski.

Minnie was always on the go. She worked hard and took good care of Chet in his struggles with arthritis. She loved painting, reading and writing poetry, quilting, doing crafts, and sewing. She belonged to the Warmth from the Heart Sewing Club at the Pulaski Senior Center.

Survivors include one son, Francis (Karen) Karchinski, Pulaski; one daughter, Carolyn (Arnold) Gaertig, Morgan; eight grandchildren: Joe, Jeff, and Jeanette, and Tammy, Brian, Jamie, Kevin, and Crissy; 12 great-grandchildren; her best friend, Sandy Bierhals, Pulaski; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chet, in 1995, and one grandson, Jimmy Karchinski, in 2009.

The Funeral Service was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 2nd at Peace Lutheran Church in Kunesh, Pastor Stuart Dornfeld officiating. Burial took place in SS. Edward & Isidore Cemetery, Flintville.
