Marjorie I. (Stender) Kraszewski, 88, Pulaski, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018. The daughter of Herman and Marie (Timm) Stender was born September 14, 1930, in Green Bay. Marjorie grew up in Kunesh and lived in the area all of her life. She was a 1948 graduate of Pulaski High School. On October 11, 1958, Marjorie married Eugene “Jack” Kraszewski at Peace Lutheran Church in Kunesh. She was a lifelong member of Peace Lutheran Church, and was active in assisting youth programs, the church bazaar, Lutheran World Relief (LWR), and helped with floral design and making quilts and layettes. Marj was a member of the Bellin Auxiliary and American Legion Aux. Unit #337, Pulaski. She was also involved with the Liberty Dog program and was a 4-H leader.

Marj worked at Wisconsin Bell Telephone Company in Green Bay and Milwaukee prior to the birth of her children. She later worked as a seamstress, and altered and sewed dresses for countless people in the Pulaski area. She also assisted Lutheran Social Services in the fostering of sixteen young women. Marj liked sewing, reading, bowling, and gardening. She also enjoyed the company of her pets, and made and delivered Christmas cookies for the elderly every year for at least 30 years.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene “Jack” Kraszewski, Pulaski, two daughters: Anne Kraszewski, Pulaski, and Ruth (Brian) Bloesl, Pulaski; one special foster daughter, Eileen Sheridon-Weller, Milwaukee; her favorite grandson, Samuel Bloesl, Pulaski; five siblings: Mildred “Mickey” Trudell, Green Bay, Eva Kamps, Hilbert, Charlotte (Dan) Hoffman, Green Bay, Mary (Gaynell) Pasch, Pulaski, and Susan Buss, Colorado; one sister-in-law, Ione Stender; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death in by her siblings: John Stender, Hazel (George) Blohowiak, and an infant sister, Dorothy Stender; and brothers-in-law, Riley Trudell, Lyle Kamps, and Erv Buss.

The Funeral Service was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Peace Lutheran Church, Kunesh, Pastor Don Behrendt officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Kunesh Cemetery.
