Jeffrey P. Van Dreel, 56, North Chase, died unexpectedly Friday, May 18, 2018, at his home. The son of Frank and Mary (Winter) Van Dreel was born November 14, 1961, in Green Bay, and was a lifelong resident of the Town of Chase. On October 2, 1982, he married Lesa Gilson in Oconto. Jeff had been employed at Carver Yacht for many years, at Pomp’s Trucking in Sobieski, and most recently at A.B. Leist in Manitowoc. He enjoyed snowmobiling, was a longtime member of the Chase Sno-Chasers, and groomed the trails for many years. Jeff enjoyed the outdoors, camping, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family, especially his grandson and his dog, Duke. He was loved by everyone.

Survivors include his wife, Lesa; two children: Jesse (special friend, Dejana Ernst) Van Dreel, Pulaski, and Kayla (special friend, Derek Kaye) Van Dreel, Green Bay; four grandchildren: Connor, Holley, Maddey, and little Jesse James; his parents: Frank and Mary Van Dreel, Chase; one brother, Jerry (Sharon) Van Dreel, Chase; two sisters: Cindy Dyer, Arizona, and Connie (Steve) McDermid, Seymour; Lesa’s siblings: Karen Kraszewski, Pulaski, Darrell (Sally) Gilson, Shawano, Terry (Jim) Szymanski, Green Bay, and Mark (Melissa) Gilson, Bellevue; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Lloyd and Donna Gilson; his grandparents: Frank and Edna Van Dreel and Angeline and Earl Raasch; and a brother-in-law, Tom Kraszewski.

The Funeral Service was celebrated at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M., officiating.
