Janette Prokash, 89, Pulaski, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Emerald Bay Memory Care. She was born Janette Lillian Ladwig on January 16, 1929, in Tigerton, to the late Alfred and Lilly (Marquardt) Ladwig.

Janette was a lifetime member of St. John Lutheran Church in Pulaski, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the American Legion Aux., Unit 337, Pulaski.

People in the Pulaski area will remember her smiling face during the many years she worked at Pulaski Pharmacy. After her retirement she enjoyed traveling, which included trips to Europe, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Branson, Disney, some cruises and, also, a few casino excursions. She enjoyed playing cards and games with her many grand and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Jack (Vicki) Breitenfeldt, Bruce (Cheryl) Breitenfeldt, and Scott (Lori) Prokash; her stepchildren: Judy (Dennis) Reimer, Barbara Resch, Mike (Sandy) Prokash, Cathy (David) Meyer, Linda (Dean) VanDreel, Tim (Linda Verheyen) Prokash, and Bill (Linda) Prokash; 26 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; a brother: Gary (Diane) Ladwig; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Frank H. Prokash; her parents, a sister: Delores (Richard) Moss; brothers: Jim Ladwig, infant Allen Ladwig, and Norman (Margaret) Ladwig; a sister-in-law: Eleanor (Charles) Weydt; a brother-in-law: Orville (Lee) Prokash; a son-in-law: Larry Resch; and a granddaughter: Angeline Resch.

The Funeral Service was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17th at St. John Lutheran Church in Pulaski, Pastor Larry Yaw officiating. Burial took place in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
