Gregg Edward Matuszak (Toosh), 56, Pulaski, passed away peacefully at home, after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Gregg, born February 17, 1962, was the eldest son of Edward and Joan (Lontkowski) Matuszak. He leaves a lifetime of wonderful memories behind for his mom, Joan; brothers and sisters: Gail (Jeff), Dawn (Warren), David (Carlette), Brian (Michele), Karen (Jerry); nieces and nephews: Makala (Chris), Alex (HeeJu), Reanna, Eli, Ben, Sarah, Josh, and great-niece, Julianna; his faithful canine companion, Betty Lou; Uncle Art and Aunt Marie; many cousins and more friends than there is room to list. Gregg was the owner/operator of Classic’s Saloon and Hotel in Pulaski. There you could expect to be greeted with a smile and friendly conversation.

His passion was music. His singing voice brought joy to everyone who listened. He was the lead singer in many bands over the years; MPH and HUSH being the most recent. He organized fun events like taking the purple bus down to Milwaukee for tailgating and a Brewers game. He hosted many bands at Classic’s over the years, including his own. He was a diehard Packers fan and his face made it into some national footage and publications. “SUPER BOWL!”

Gregg was an entertainer and his mission was to make other people happy. He excelled at it, to say the least. Besides music, Gregg enjoyed photography, traveling, playing sports when he had been able, spending time with his family and friends and his dogs, Betty Lou and the late Boris and Otis.

Gregg has been joined together in heaven with his dad, Ed; grandparents: Bernie and Gertie Lontkowski, and Jim and Frances Matuszak; aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Gregg had an immense presence in his world and he will forever remain in the memories and hearts of those whose lives he touched. We love you, Gregg/Toosh!

The Funeral Service was celebrated at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Assumption BVM Church, Pulaski, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. officiating.
