Carol L. Karcz, 79, Pulaski, died peacefully Thursday morning, December 13, 2018, at her home with her family at her side. The oldest child of the late George and Irene (Johnson) Splitgerber was born December 9, 1939, in Green Bay. She met Myron Karcz in Green Bay at a local youth center. The couple was married July 14, 1962, at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski. Carol worked at Allen Foods (formerly KLM) in Pulaski for many years. She also worked at Northern Shoe and Segall’s in Pulaski. Carol enjoyed reading and doing word search puzzles, going for walks, and sitting outside enjoying “the critters.”

Survivors include her husband, Myron, Pulaski; one son, Scott Karcz, North Chase; one daughter, Renee Karcz, Little Suamico; two grandsons: Michael and Andrew Karcz; two great-granddaughters: Cali and Kyla; one brother, Ken Splitgerber (fiancée Donna Kerr), Pittsfield; three sisters: Ruth (Ken) Peot, Green Bay, Nancy Lindenberg, Green Bay, and Mary (Jamie) Reinke, Denmark; Myron’s siblings: Don Karcz, Aniwa, Mardell Wirtz, Sobieski, Carol Walla, Green Bay, and Larry (Donna) Karcz, North Chase; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by two sons: David and Brian Karcz; a daughter-in-law, Nancy (Reyment) Bolssen; two brothers-in-law, Fred Lindenberg and Jim Wirtz; and a sister-in-law, Venita Karcz.

The Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M., presiding. Burial followed in the parish cemetery.
